Winter Storm Warning: Blizzard Approaching
It’s 2 a.m. on Christmas morning. Everyone is nestled in bed, including your eight extended family guests. You wake from a chill on your nose and see that snow is falling heavily outside. Perfect, a white Christmas! But not so fast . . . a shiver runs up your body. You check the thermostat—it reads 53 degrees. The furnace has stopped. The house is freezing and in five hours everyone will emerge to a bitter-cold living room. This is a disaster!
Don’t let this happen to you.
An annual furnace tune-up can make all the difference on a frigid winter day. Although maintenance on your system may not be a fun expense, it is an investment that will pay dividends on peace of mind and urgent, emergency-situation prevention. We offer a thorough inspection and tune-up of your unit that will keep it running strong and reliably throughout the Colorado winter season.

Furnace Tune-Up: What to Expect
A thorough check of your system will take about 30–90 minutes.
Here are some standard items our technician will check to ensure the system is running as efficiently and reliably as possible, within manufacturer specifications:
- Filter life (clean or dirty)
- Blower motor
- Flame rectification
- Safety limit operation
- Motor amps
- Electrical wiring
The technician will also test for gas leaks and carbon monoxide.
Do You Really Need a Tune-Up?
Do you want to:
- Keep your family safe and air clean by preventing dangerous gas leaks?
- Extend the life span of your system?
- Lower your costs (monthly heating bill and system integrity) by ensuring your system runs efficiently?
- Maintain your manufacturer’s warranty?
- Prevent problems by identifying them proactively, ensuring you can rely on your system, ultimately saving you time and money?
If yes, then don’t delay. Schedule a preventative tune-up today.
You can make a gamble that your system will hold up during the cold winter months, OR you can prevent an unexpected emergency situation. Which will you choose? Be proactive.
For extra peace of mind, consider a furnace cleaning. In this separate service (additional charge), we remove the blower assembly; clean the inside of the furnace; wipe down the inside of the furnace; and clean the motor, blower wheel, and blower shroud.
